Antelmo Ontiveros charged with murdering girlfriend, Banessa Herrera, shooting Christian Picazo-Guzman

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office identified the two victims shot in Tampa early Thursday morning as Banessa Herrera and Christian Picazo-Guzman. Police have issued a warrant for Antelmo Ontiveros and was still at large at this writing.

Ontiveros, 28, faces second-degree murder with a firearm and attempted second-degree murder with a firearm charges. An arrest warrant has been obtained for him.

A suspect has been identified after two people were shot outside a Tampa home early Thursday morning, around 2 a.m, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

 

Authorities said Ontiveros shot his girlfriend, Herrera, 30, who died at a local hospital and Picazo-Guzman as he tried to help Herrera.

Ontiveros fled the scene in a 2002 Nissan Altima with Florida tag 3642UA, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.
