Brian Kilbane announced as new Office Managing Partner of Dixon Hughes Goodman’s Tampa office

Dixon Hughes Goodman, a U.S. top 20 public accounting and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that Brian Kilbane will serve as Office Managing Partner of its Tampa Bay, Florida office, which focuses primarily on serving the insurance industry. With more than 15 years of insurance industry experience, including three years with DHG, Brian has a unique background directly complimenting the initiatives of growing and diverse insurance and financial services companies.

“We are very excited about Brian moving to Tampa Bay and leading our practice there,” says David Evans, Managing Partner of DHG’s South Region. “Brian delivers a high-touch, value-added approach, both in mentoring our internal team and in serving clients, which has directly contributed to growing our insurance practice nationwide.”

Since joining DHG, Brian has led domestic and international insurance audits with complex and diverse issues within property and casualty, life, reinsurance, captive and catastrophe insurance companies. His leadership has brought large teams through uniquely complex and time-sensitive projects to ensure both quality and adherence to deadlines.

Brian has served as an insurance specialist on numerous engagements including SEC and SOX readiness, SOX rationalization, technical accounting advisory services, including the accounting for variable interest entities, and due diligence for a private equity acquisition for a large domestic insurer. Furthermore, Brian co-leads DHG’s captive insurance services group, is also active in the marketplace and is a featured speaker at various industry conferences.
