Citrus deputy, Robert Grange, fired and arrested, facing solicitation, prostitution charges

A Citrus County Sheriff’s deputy has been arrested on prostitution and solicitation charges in Hernando County. Robert Grange was taken into custody by the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office and fired from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office.

Grange, 31, is now the subject of an Internal Affairs investigation. Deputies say that the arrest is linked to incident on July 4. The arrest document on record incidicate that “Robert John Grange” was charged with the offense of “Prostitution/Lewd Acts.”

iHeart Radio reports a source which states that Grange was “seeking out a prostitute on the Fourth of July,” the Sheriff’s Office still would not comment on the matter.

Grange has been with the sheriff’s office since July 6, 2015.

NOTE: ABC falsely reported the officer’s name as “GRANGER” but as noted the arrest records confirm other media outlet’s coverage: Robert John Grange.
