Bluewater Media, was named the winner of the Gold Stevie® Award in the Best Viral Video category in the 17th Annual American Business Awards®.
Bluewater Media is a Clearwater, Florida-based converged advertising and marketing agency that utilizes digital and broadcast creative, media strategy and transactional e-commerce to introduce products to market and build lasting brand awareness using international, national and regional outreach.
“It is an honor to be recognized by the American Business Awards in the overall business community, especially for our digital creative work,” said Andy Latimer, Founder and CEO, Bluewater Media. “The SodaStream collaboration allowed our team to be disruptive, create, innovate and get way outside the box. It’s great to see this type of creative get recognized. This project combined working with celebrities Reza Farhahan from ‘Shahs of Sunset’ and Thor Bjornsson (aka ‘The Mountain’) from ‘Games of Thrones’ in order to parody SodaSoak using an infomercial-style video.”
The add-on installation of SodaSoak would enable consumers to carbonate the bath and drive “purchases” to a set SodaStream site.
The Bluewater Media viral video resulted in over 20 billion impressions across the globe. With over 10 million views in the first week.
