By Robert Herriman  @bactiman63

On this week’s Outbreak News This Week Radio Show in the Tampa Bay area, two important topics were covered concerning Florida and the Tampa Bay area in particular with two great guests.

In the first half, Regional Epidemiologist & Laboratory Liason with the Bureau of Epidemiology at the Florida Department of Health, Anfrea Leapley, MPH joined me to discuss the hepatitis A outbreak in the state and in west-central Florida.

During the second half, Florida resident and preparedness blogger, Mike Coston joined me to talk about hurricane preparedness with the start of hurricane season beginning next Saturday.
