How conservative was Ronald Reagan?

The 40th President of the United States, Ronald Reagan, is held up by many as the epitome of conservatism. The question is, how conservative was he?

On this podcast, I am joined by Senior Fellow at the Independent Institute, Ivan Eland to answer this question.

I asked Eland specifically about President Reagan concerning entitlements, taxes, regulation and limited government. We also delved into Reagan’s foreign policy, the Cold War and Iran Contra.

Show host, Robert Herriman looks at issues of politics, society and culture through interviews with expert guests and commentary, news and analysis. He always calls balls and strikes on important issues of the day.
