On St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, you are invited to join Dr. Jennifer Knight from the Department of History at University of South Florida, for a talk on Irish society and politics during the era of Saint Patrick.
The coming of Saint Patrick to Ireland in the 5th Century permanently altered the course of Irish history, but his rise to Ireland’s patron saint has much more to do with the social and political developments of the centuries that followed than one might expect.
Dr Knight will be speaking on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the SouthShore Regional Library.
