The story centers around a brother and sister, Jack and Annie, who encounter the titular “magic tree house” to be transported back in time to the age of dinosaurs, making new friends, including a Anatosaurus and a T. Rex.

I attended the show’s finale with my 4-year-old nephew, the target audience indeed. It was a highly entertaining and fun story with musical performances to engage the audience.

But let’s face it…this was about the dinosaurs!

Trust me, it made an impact and impressed those kids as intended.

The kids danced, sang and acted a fun story as the audience cheered them on. In fact, there were many proud parents in the crowd as the theater was packed full for this sixth and final showing.

After Sunday’s final showing, the cast presented flowers to the contributors of the program. They included a special, heartfelt message to the director, Sarah Berland, who also received a standing ovation from many parents in the crowd.

As always, the Patel teams do a great job, employing the help of wonderful volunteers to bring art and theater to the Tampa area. Get more information about other events: visit https://www.strazcenter.org/Arts-Education/Patel-Conservatory
