“Amanda Makki is the conservative leader Pinellas County can count on to stand up for us in Congress and the only candidate who can beat liberal Charlie Crist. Amanda understands the pressures facing small businesses, and she has worked her whole life serving others and our nation. Her community knowledge coupled with her passion to serve are just what we need,” said Mayor Arbutine.

Treasure Island Mayor Lunn added: “It’s easy to support a conservative, smart, and hardworking woman who has the best interest of Treasure Island and our community at heart. Amanda Makki is also an expert in health care policy, during a time when this experience is desperately needed. I fully support Amanda’s candidacy and look forward to working with her when she is in Washington.”

“I’m thankful to receive the endorsements from Mayor Arbutine and Mayor Lunn. These hometown leaders work to improve the lives for all Belleair Beach and Treasure Island residents,” said Makki. “I look forward to serving alongside them and finding solutions to help jumpstart our economy post COVID-19, prevent Democrats’ tax increases and overregulation of our small businesses, reduce out-of-pocket costs mandated by Obamacare, and fix our transportation and traffic systems.”

Makki has received similar support from local leaders including Republican State Representative Jamie Grant, Seminole City Councilor Thom Barnhorn, Belleair Beach Mayor Joseph Manzo, and Treasurer Island Commissioner Tyler Payne.

In addition to her local endorsements, Makki has received many endorsements from honored veterans including Senator Joni Ernst, the first female combat veteran ever elected to the United States Senate, as well as Florida Congressional Representatives Lt. Colonel Michael Waltz and Major Neal Dunn. In addition, Congressman John Rutherford, the former Sheriff for the City of Jacksonville, and Navy Seal Combat Veteran Robert O’Neal who shot Osama bin Laden have also endorsed Amanda.

Rounding out her final list of commendations, Makki has received endorsements from House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, House Republican Whip Steve Scalise, and Physician Congressman Michael Burgess. Also, Amanda Makki was named by the National Republican Campaign Committee’s Young Guns program as one of the top 27 “Contender” candidates. Conservative groups like Republican Main Street Partnership PAC, Maverick PAC, FreedomWorks, View PAC, Maggie’s List, Rep. Elise Stefanik’s E-PAC, helping female GOP candidates get elected, American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Associated Builders & Contractors Florida Gulf Coast Chapter have all also endorsed Makki.
