Outrage protesters come for PAW PATROL as Amanda Hess attacks kid’s show

An article from The New York Times highlighted the woke culture, sparking outrage on Twitter at the Nickelodeon cartoon series Paw Patrol, because the popular children’s show centers around Chase, a German shepherd police dog, who portrays police officers in a positive manner.

“It was only a matter of time before the protests came for Paw Patrol,” Amanda Hess began. “In the world of Paw Patrol, Chase is drawn to be a very good boy who barks stuff like ‘Chase is on the case!’ and ‘All in a police pup’s day!’ as he rescues kittens in his tricked-out S.U.V.”

Hess then pointed to the responses to a tweet the show had posted, expressing solidarity toward the Black Lives Matter movement and calling for “Black voices to be heard.”

In solidarity of #amplifymelanatedvoices we will be muting our content until June 7th to give access for Black voices to be heard so we can continue to listen and further our learning. #amplifyblackvoices” was the tweet from the official PAW PATROL page, see below.

Random, faceless users expressed their outrage.

“Euthanize the police dog,” one user said. Others wrote “Defund the paw patrol” and “All dogs go to heaven, except the class traitors in the Paw Patrol.”

“How much will Paw Patrol be donating to bail funds?” another user asked.

The Times critic observed, “As the protests against racist police violence enter their third week, the charges are mounting against fictional cops, too. Even big-hearted cartoon police dogs — or maybe especially big-hearted cartoon police dogs — are on notice.”

Hess is NOT a neutral voice, tweeting “I don’t want to bring a child into a world where Paw Patrol is available to stream.”

“I give up. Game over, man. Game over. Last one out turn out the lights. We’ve gone to plaid,” The Hill media reporter Joe Concha reacted with a reference to the 1987 Mel Brooks film Spaceballs.

“I’m sorry, I refuse to believe this is the New York Times, and not The Onion,” Fourth Watch media critic Steve Krakauer tweeted.

Near the end of his show Ben Shapiro attacked the stupidity of the outrage, check that out at the bottom.

The outrage mobs won’t stop until the voices just say NO, but that is unlikely.

Nickelodeon will NOT be so bold, virtue signaling to the Black Lives Matter activists drew attention to the perceived injustice, so it’s their time to pay up….by canceling Chase.
