President Trump tweets about retaking CHAZ, Democrats Jenny Durkin, Jay Inslee double down on support

There are jokes in conservative circles the President Trump’s opponents will unwittingly oppose anything that he says or supports.

Trump triggered the Democrats when he mentioned using force to reclaim CHAZ, Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, the six-block region seized by protesters in Seattle, Washington.

“Take back your city NOW. If you don’t do it, I will,” Trump warned mayor Jenny Durkan and Washington state governor Jay Inslee – both Democrats – in a tweet late on Wednesday, calling the protesters “domestic terrorists” who have taken over Seattle.

“This is not a game. These ugly Anarchists must be stooped (sic) IMMEDIATELY. MOVE FAST,” he said in another tweet.

Democratic Mayor Jenny Durkan replied on Thursday, urging Trump to “make us all safe. Go back to your bunker”

Washington state Governor Jay Inslee then jumped in to support the rebellion.

“A man who is totally incapable of governing should stay out of Washington state’s business. ‘Stoop’ tweeting,” Inslee wrote.

CHAZ has instituted Stop-and-Frisk entry points, making demands for the abolition of the police, courts and arrest records.

  1. I live in Seattle. There are no stop and frisk entry points. There are no armed people that I saw. The event is very family friendly, free food and music. It is an impromptu street festival which is why the Mayor chose not to shut it down with force. There has been no looting in CHAZ, no burning and while a lot of graffiti that is the end of the vandalism and there seems to be a code or order on the streets.
