Tampa’s Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas Welcomes Local Artists to Showcase

Deadline for first-round consideration is Friday, January 31

Luxurious waterside getaway The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas is offering local artists a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to showcase their work in its lobby and WTR Pool & Grill areas.

The destination hotel, which sits on Old Tampa Bay, attracts thousands of guests monthly. This is an unprecedented chance for local artists of varying media and experience levels to show their work to guests from around the globe. The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas is looking for homegrown expressionists who work in painting, sculpture and photography and tell stories with their art that will engage with visitors.

This is an open call to Tampa Bay artists of all leanings. Details are below. The deadline to be considered for the first round of exhibitions is Friday, January 31. Artists interested in this incredible opportunity can send a link to their gallery and images of specific pieces for consideration to [email protected].

Exhibits accepted: watercolors, paintings, sculptures, and photography.

Portraits must be 2 ft. x 3 ft. or larger.

Works of art will be available for sale through the artist.

The hotel will take no commission and insurance is the artist’s responsibility.

The length of the exhibit will be determined by artist and hotel.

Artist can choose to host tours or meet-and-greets with support WTR Pool & Grill.
