BLM’s Shaun King says destroy ‘White’ Jesus statues, stained glass, ‘form of white supremacy’ ‘racist propaganda’

High-profile Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King called for the destruction of Jesus Christ statues and Christian churches for their depiction of the “white” holy family, which King argued are forms of “white supremacy” and “racist propaganda” that promote “oppression.”

“Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down,” the activist posted via Twitter on Monday. “They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been.”

“In the Bible,” King continued, “when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Denmark.”

“Tear them down.”

King then called for the destruction of stained glass windows, murals, and other parts of Christian churches and buildings that depict Biblical figures as white.

“Yes,” he wrote. “All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down. They are a gross form white supremacy. Created as tools of oppression. Racist propaganda.”

“They should all come down,” he added.
