The City of Tampa Department of Planning & Development is excited to announce a new program designed to help homeowners successfully take on their residential construction projects.
It’s called Homeowners Night and it will be held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month (excluding holidays). On Homeowners Night, the Development Services Center is open from 5 to 7:30 p.m. where homeowners can visit staff from Construction Services; Planning, Urban Design and Land Coordination; Historic Preservation and Natural Resources to discuss or start permitting their residential project.

It is easy to file a permit for your residential construction project and our plan examiners, inspectors and staff are here to help you make it a huge success.
