Convoy of Hope sending relief to Ukraine, help for Polish refugees

Convoy of Hope is reaching out a hand to help people in Ukraine during Russia’s invasion of their country.

Convoy of Hope said it will be sending a team this week to lead aid efforts on the ground in Poland and potentially other countries surrounding Ukraine.

A Convoy of Hope spokesperson said the organization has an International Disaster Service team that is in contact with partners on the ground in Ukraine and will offer food, water, shelter, hygiene kits, and other necessities to displaced Ukrainians.

The United Nations estimated that more than half a million people have fled Ukraine as a result of the invasion.
