COVID-19: Florida case count now 70, 4 deaths

The Florida Department of Health, in an update today, is reporting 70 positive cases of COVID-19 in Florida residents.

In addition, DOH has confirmed an individual who had previously tested positive for COVID-19 has died. The individual was a 77-year old male in Lee County. This is the 4th death reported in Florida.

During a press conference at the State Emergency Operations Center Saturday, Governor Ron DeSantis provided several additional updates on Florida’s efforts to respond to COVID-19:
