Derby Lane, on Gandy Blvd. in St Petersburg announced today they will be reopening on Friday, May 8th for live greyhound racing.
Matinee Racing will be held 6 days per week Monday through Saturday at 12:30pm. There will be no Evening Racing. Each card will have 15 races. $1 sodas, $1 hot dogs, & $1 draft beers will be available at the Concession Stand until further notice.
Only the outside mainline area and grandstand will be open. No inside areas will be open at this time.
The Derby Lane Poker Room will open on Monday, May 11th at 10am. The Room will be open 7 Days a week from 10am to 10pm and will operate at 25% of its capacity.
We will have 13 of our 52 tables open, with a max of 6 players on each table.
Staff is diligently working to install Plexiglas barriers, as well as social distance markings on the floor in betting lines and at food stations.
Derby Lane will continue the cleaning and disinfectant practices it had in place in the poker room and all common areas before the close of business on March 20th.
