HDSA Golf Event to honor resident battling Huntington’s disease

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s (HDSA) South Florida Chapter will host Brittany’s Hope for Huntington’s Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, October 18th from 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM: East Bay Golf Club in Largo, Florida.

The event honors Brittany Bosson who is currently is battling Huntington’s disease and wants to bring awareness through this event.

Huntington’s disease is a brain disease that is passed down in families from generation to generation with symptoms described as having ALS, Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s – simultaneously. Today, there are approximately 41,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at-risk of inheriting the disease.
