21-year-old Jarrod Isiah Mingo was arrested for a shooting that took place in the parking lot of the Gold Mine Pawn, in Tampa, on July 13, 2020, according to The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Surveillance video captured Mingo opening fire in the parking lot of the pawnshop, hitting two occupied vehicles and a TECO substation.
Mingo was found at a local hotel where detectives believe he was staying. He was brought into custody without incident.
“The actions of this man were not only criminal but also extremely dangerous,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Thankfully, no one was hurt as he opened fire in a public parking lot, but those actions have serious consequences and Mr. Mingo will be held accountable.”
