Murray, 26, has been charged with first degree murder and attempted felony murder.

Police reported that Murray and Neville Chambers, 21, who was arrested Wednesday, planned to rob Mark Pointer and Julius Buchanan, when they met in a nearby parking lot for a drug deal.

Pointer, 25, and Buchanan, 28, both of Tampa, met Murray and Chambers in a library parking lot for a drug deal.

During the drug deal, Murray shot both victims, authorities said.

When police arrived on scene, both shooting victims were found inside a vehicle. Pointer died Wednesday. Buchanan was still in critical condition Friday morning.

Chambers, of St. Petersburg, was charged with first degree felony murder and placed in the Pinellas County Jail.
