Sam’s Club in South Tampa will reopen to shoppers next week with Walmart’s Scan & Go technology, according to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report.
The Sam’s Club at 5135 S Dale Mabry Highway, which was closed in January 2018 and converted to an e-commerce fulfillment center — will reopen a portion of the store to Sam’s Club members on Oct. 17, according to a Walmart spokeperson.
“Sam’s Club members will also be able to shop from a limited assortment of products at the fulfillment center using the Scan & Go app which allows users to scan and pay for their merchandise from a smartphone,” they said.
