An event for South Tampa neighbors has been scheduled for December– the 1st Annual South Tampa Neighbors helping Neighbors BBQ.
According to a Sign-up genius notice:
With the support of our local business owners, PIPO’S CUBAN CAFE, ROBERT’S MEATS and pavillon sponsor, CASSANDRA REARDIN, we are able to bring this BBQ to you and your family, free of charge. In exchange for this, all we ask is that you bring a donation of either non- perishable food items, personal hygiene items or adult size socks. The original intent of the BBQ was to bring our neighbors together to socialize, make new friends or reconnect wth your old South Tampa friends. Due to the overwhelming interest in the BBQ and the recent increase in our homeless population and families in need, we felt that this is a perfect opportunity for our South Tampa neighbors to help neighbors in need.
The BBQ will be Sunday, Dec. 8 from 12-4 pm at Picnic Island Pavillon 613.
