Universal Orlando has set a reopening date for CityWalk.
Universal announced Tuesday that the complex will reopen in a limited capacity on May 14 at 4 p.m. as guests will have to adhere to new safety measures, including temperature checks and face coverings.
“Temperature checks will be required upon arrival, and guests with a temperature of 100.4 degrees or greater will not be admitted,” the Operations update states.
Employees will also be required to wear face coverings and undergo temperature checks as well.
Not every venue will be open, here’s the preliminary list:
Select venues are scheduled to open daily from 4–10 pm.

Full-service restaurants and quick-service food locations:

- Jimmy Buffett’s® Margaritaville® (outside & Lone Palm)
- Red Oven Pizza Bakery™Â mobile ordering available
- Voodoo Doughnut mobile ordering available
Shopping venues:
- Airbrush
- Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company® (retail only)
- Universal Studios Store™Â and select merchandise carts
Entertainment venue:
Each eatery will have a limited menu and limited seating, Universal said.
Tables and chairs will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each use.
Self-parking is complimentary. Valet parking is not available at this time.
Universal’s theme parks and hotels, which have been closed since mid-March because of the coronavirus pandemic, will remain closed through at least May 31.
The CityWalk reopening announcement comes just few days after Disney revealed plans to reopen Disney Springs in phases starting May 20.
