‘White Christmas’ comes to Tampa Straz Center December 20-21

The Straz Center Patel Conservatory will present the delightful holiday show White Christmas, Dec. 20-21, in Ferguson Hall. Military personnel and veterans will receive special recognition.
This heartwarming musical adaptation of the beloved holiday classic, performed by students ages 12-18, features familiar holiday tunes and equally memorable characters. In the years after World War II, song-and-dance duo Bob Wallace and Phil Davis follow two beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander.
The Patel Conservatory’s artistic team include Director Suzanne Livesay, Music Director Kavanaugh Gillespie, Choreographer Jamie Lynn Gilliam.
Performances are Friday, Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 21 at 2:30 and 7 p.m. Regularly priced tickets start at $25 and can be purchased by calling 813.229.STAR (7827) or 800.955.1045 outside Tampa Bay, in person at the Straz Center Ticket Sales Office or online at www.strazcenter.org. Handling fees will apply.
