Amanda Makki Outraises Charlie Crist in the Second Quarter, Pulls Away As The CD13 Republican Frontrunner

Conservative Republican Amanda Makki’s 2020 Q2 campaign finance report continues to demonstrate why she is the strongest choice to be the Republican nominee for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. Makki ended the quarter with twice as much cash on hand than the rest of the Republican candidates combined. Her fundraising and grassroots organization have proven she’s the conservative candidate to take on Liberal Charlie Crist in November.

In addition, Makki has raised over $1 million in total contributions (including those slated for the general election against Crist) as Republican voters echo their support for her candidacy. A recent St.PetePolls.org showed Amanda Makki leading all other Primary Election candidates with likely CD13 Republican voters.

“Thank you to everyone who has contributed their time and money to our campaign. We are nearly a month away from the Primary Election and I remain steadfast in our goal to defeat Charlie Crist”, said Makki. “Charlie Crist doesn’t stand for Pinellas County.  He consistently votes with Nancy Pelosi to further the Left’s progressive agenda. As the conservative counterpunch, I am the only candidate who will put Pinellas County and American values first.”

Also, Makki’s grassroots movement has amassed a vast list of conservative endorsements. Her recent endorsements come from esteemed U.S. Armed Force members including Senator Joni Ernst, the first female combat veteran ever elected to the United States Senate. Other honored veterans’ supporters include Congressmen Michael Waltz (Lt. Colonel), Congressman Neal Dunn (Major), and Combat veteran Robert O’Neill of the elite Navy SEAL Team 6, who shot Osama bin Laden.

She has also received the endorsements of House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, Republican Whip Steve Scalise, Health Care Ranking Member and Physician Congressman Michael Burgess and the former Sheriff for the City of Jacksonville Congressman John Rutherford. Locally, Amanda has the support of Florida State Representative Jamie Grant, Seminole City Councilor Thom Barnhorn, Treasure Island Commissioner Tyler Payne, Belleair Beach Mayor Joseph Manzo, Belleair Bluff Mayor Chris Arbutine and Treasure Island Mayor Larry Lunn. She was also named to the National Republican Campaign Committee’s Young Guns program as one of the top “Contender” candidates.

In total, Makki has received over 20 major endorsements, that also include the Conservative groups FreedomWorks, Republican Main Street Partnership PAC, and Maverick PAC as well as groups supporting the strongest female candidates in the U.S. including VIEW PAC, Maggie’s List, and Rep. Elise Stefanik’s E‐PAC, that help female GOP candidates. She is also supported by the American College of Emergency Physicians and Associated Builders & Contractors Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
