Tampa Police have issued a warrant Tuesday for the arrest of 17-year-old Eric Wordlaw.
Wordlaw has been identified as the suspect in the Saturday shooting of an 18-year-old man outside the Fat Boy Grocery at 1345 E Osborne Ave.
He faces a charge of attempted murder.
According to police, the 18 year old victim exited the grocery store Saturday afternoon. Wordlaw past him into the store.
As he entered the store the Wordlaw produced a firearm, exited the store, and suddenly shot the victim twice. The suspect and a young boy who was with him then fled the scene on foot.
The unnamed victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. He is expected to survive.
