On Thursday mornings episode of “Morning Joe”, the ever smug co-host, Mika Brzezinski took a jab at Donald Trump concerning his lack of knowledge of recent history, or history in general.
While it’s likely true Trump is not history scholar by vocation or avocation, of the motley cast of characters on Morning Joe, Mika is the absolute last one to criticize anyone on this topic.
Let me lay out the segment–Joe Scarborough and gang were discussing a Wall Street Journal Op-Ed about Trump skipping the debates because he’s afraid (see video here starting around the 4:30 mark.)
Scarborough went on to blast Trump for a recent talk where he said he ran against Obama. It went something like this (around the 6:00 mark):
He just got lost, he just blanked and he couldn’t even remember one who he was running against in 2024 and then and I know it was almost eight years ago it was a long time ago if you’re if you’re you know we’ve all been around people with dementia people getting older people forgetting things
This is where Mika jumps in with “ or just not knowing history”

It’s one thing if it was Scarborough or Willie Geist that said it, but it was Mika.
Yes Mika, the person that called Lincoln a founding father on national TV a number of years ago. Remember this as she was trying to ridicule Sarah Palin?
She hasn’t changed at all. She clearly earns that $8 million salary she gets from MSNBC, don’t you think?
